Turn a conversation into a report
Ask Nalar for a report, then download it or share it with a teammate.
When an answer is worth sending to someone, ask Nalar to write it up as a report. You get a document you can read in Chat, download as a PDF, or share with a link.
Get the numbers first
Have the conversation you'd have anyway, until the answer has what you need. For example, from Analyze this month's sales.
Ask for the report
Say who it's for and what it should include:
Write this up as a one-page report for the sales team: a summary, the table by product, and three things to act on.Nalar creates the report as an artifact next to its answer. Depending on how your workspace is set up, it may first offer to create the report as a file instead.
Download or share it
- Download PDF saves a copy you can attach anywhere.
- Copy share link gives you a link to just this report. Only people in your workspace who have access to the same data can open it, and you can revoke the link later.
- Copy conversation link shares the whole conversation as a read-only view instead.
Good to know
- A report is a snapshot. Its numbers don't update later. For numbers you want to keep current, use a dashboard.
- To change the report, ask in the same conversation, for example "make the summary shorter", and Nalar writes a new version.
- A table in an answer can also be copied or downloaded as CSV.
