Data & Knowledge
See which data sources, documents, and warehouse tables your Agents can read, and whether they're healthy.
Data & Knowledge is the inventory of everything your Agents can read. Use it to check what's connected, whether it's up to date, and which Agents read each item. Open it from Settings > Data & Knowledge. It's available to Workspace Owners and Admins.
Seeing something here doesn't mean anyone can use it. Access still depends on each member's Agents.
Three tabs
| Tab | What it lists |
|---|---|
| Data Sources | Connected platforms, such as your ERP, CRM, or Google Drive, one entry per connection |
| Documents | Files uploaded for Agents |
| Warehouse | Prepared data tables your Agents query |
Each tab has its own search. You can also filter by Agent to see only what one Agent reads.
Reading a data source's condition
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Connected | The connection works. It doesn't mean the data is recent. |
| Syncing | An update is running right now. |
| Action required | Someone needs to fix something. The source says what, and whether your team or the Nalar team should act. |
Check the time next to each source. "Checked" tells you when Nalar last looked at the connection, which isn't the same as when the data was last updated. When Nalar doesn't know how fresh the data is, it says so instead of guessing.
Connecting, reconnecting, or removing a data source is done by the Nalar team with your IT team. There are no connect buttons here.
Documents
The Documents tab shows each file's name, type, size, upload date, who uploaded it, its processing status, and which Agents read it. You can preview or download a file.
To add a document, select Upload document and choose the one Agent it belongs to. You can upload up to three files at a time, each up to 20 MB. A document uploaded here behaves exactly as if it had been uploaded on that Agent's page.
You can delete or replace documents you uploaded yourself. If a document failed to process, it stays visible with its status so you can upload it again. Files attached in Chat don't appear here.
Warehouse
Warehouse lists the prepared tables your Agents query, in two layers:
- Silver: cleaned and standardized data.
- Gold: curated, business-ready data used for metrics and analysis.
Each table shows its business name, where it comes from, whether it's available, and which Agents read it. A table without an approved name yet shows Business name pending. Being listed, or being Gold, doesn't guarantee the data is current.
